50 Cent interested in investing in other properties in downtown Shreveport, his real estate agent says

“50 Cent” Jackson is set to open G-Unit Studios in Shreveport, but it turns out his influence in the city may go beyond the new studio.

On Wednesday, April 17, KSLA spoke with the owner of Durden Property Group, Gerod Durden, about 50 Cent’s plans for the city.

Durden says he’s working with 50 Cent as his exclusive real estate agent. He says he was introduced to 50 Cent by some friends more than a year ago. Durden says 50 Cent is interested in purchasing several properties in Shreveport, particularly in the downtown area.

“Part of his plan is to revitalize the downtown area, and he’s planning of bring a lot of… some of the biggest named entertainers all over the world to Shreveport. And that’s how he plans to help it grow here,” Durden explained.

Durden says there will be opportunities for the people of Shreveport and a lot of available jobs as well.
