50 Cent has officially expanded his television empire by launching his G-Unit Studios in Shreveport, Louisiana.
On Thursday, he unveiled the first look at the massive production compound, a grand expansion of his nearly 20-year-old media company. The New York rapper launched G-Unit Film & Television Inc. in 2005. Since then, the company has introduced the famous “Power” Universe and “BMF” series through its partnership with Starz. Now, 50 is ready to do even more with his empire.

“Bringing G-Unit Studios to Shreveport is not just a business decision; it’s a commitment to fostering talent, creating opportunities, and building a community that thrives through creativity and innovation. We see Shreveport as a beacon of inspiration and creativity,” 50 shared with Billboard.
50 revealed in January 2024 that he’d recently sold another series, with details coming soon. Last year, he also landed a multi-year deal with FOX Entertainment to create new scripted dramas. While it’s unknown which undertakings will be announced first, we have a few stories in mind that we’d love to see G-Unit Film & Television Inc. bring to life.
