Coi Leray has responded to mentioning her name in Eminem’s latest diss track aimed at her father, Benzino.
Em’s new track “Doomsday Pt. 2” was released on January 26 on the Lyrical Lemonade compilation album “All Is Yellow”. It finally addresses the long-going crusade a former publisher of The Source magazine has been dutifully carrying since their original beef in the mid-2000s. Benzino had claimed that the beef was over many times but couldn’t help himself from taking digs at Eminem in his interviews and social media posts.
Despite Coi Leray having her own issues with her father and expressing admiration for Eminem as a “very talented artist and actor”, she found herself caught in the crossfire.
In the song, Eminem raps, “Well, I guess then I regret to inform you, hate to spoil the day/ But this doesn’t bring me no joy to say/ Guess that Coi Leray feat’s in the toilet, ay?”
After the track dropped, Coi took to her social media within hours, responding with a series of posts. In essence, she conveyed that she won’t give any energy to a situation that doesn’t concern her and implied that hip hop beef should stay in the past.
She began with general statements, not mentioning any names directly:
Niggas went through so much shit in 2023, you would of thought people found God in 2024. Mfs be so caught up in the devils work, it’s almost Impossible for them to change. Misery loves company. Rap beef is so washed and tired. Exhausting. Embarrassing. Just fucking over all corny as fuck.
Then Benzino’s daughter moved closer to the topic, clearly indicating who she was talking about but still avoiding names:
I got no issues with no one. I’m so locked in on my grown and sexy vibes… if anybody don’t like me, that’s something they gotta take on with them selves. There’s no way I’m about to entertain these grown ass men and the beef they been having for over 20years . Lmao it’s so stupid all I can do is laugh. 2 decades later ?? gtfoh im grown. Move along. She finished by finally denouncing any desire to work with Eminem and used this opportunity to promote her new track, produced by Will-Make-It, who, by the way, has worked with Eminem on two tracks from “Kamikaze”. Coi Leray posted:

Meanwhile, her father keeps his responses on the low, avoiding public statements, trying to laugh the diss off in DMs and offering to defend his honour in a fistfight. Nothing new here.
