Daphne Joy recently issued a statement on Instagram and accused her ex, rapper 50 Cent of raping and physically abusing her.
Over the past few days, the relationship between Curtis James Jackson, famously known as 50 Cent, and his ex Daphne Joy has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons. While it began with Joy being named in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sex trafficking lawsuit again, the shocking developments led the ‘In Da Club’ hitmaker to seek the sole custody of their 11-year-old son Sire. As the two get into a legal battle now, things have gotten worse with the model-actress accusing 50 Cent of “raping” and “physically abusing” her.
Joy penned a long note on Instagram while making the shocking remarks. In response to this, the musician clarified his stance and denied the allegations.
In a statement to Us Weekly, the 48-year-old began by mentioning that the “disturbing allegations” about Daphne Joy’s involvement in the Diddy lawsuit have prompted him to take all necessary legal actions to protect his son. “The most recent false and baseless accusations by Daphne Joy are clearly in response to my decision to seek sole custody of my son. My son Sire is my main priority and keeping him in a safe environment is my only focus at this time,” he said.
50 Cent’s Ex Accuses Him of Rape and Physical Abuse
In a startling Instagram post, Daphne Joy while naming 50 Cent wrote, “Everything is a joke to you until our safety is compromised, which is happening now. You are wreaking real havoc, frenzy, and chaos onto people’s lives. How would you feel if Sire was the one in handcuffs? For nothing.”
Mentioning how she moved to New York to allow him to meet their son more often, Joy further added, “Let’s put the real focus on your true evil actions of raping me and physically abusing me. You are no longer my oppressor and my God will handle you from this point on. You have permanently damaged the last hope I had for you as a father to preserve our family with these last and final false claims made against me. You have broken our hearts for the last and final time.”
On the other hand, Joy also reacted to the allegations against her in the sex trafficking lawsuit and denied all of it. “The claim that I am a sex worker is 100% false and character assassination,” she wrote on Instagram.
