Deadpool & Wolverine: Post-Credit Scene is “Mind-Blowing”

Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld appears to confirm that he knows the post-credits scene for Deadpool & Wolverine, even though the movie won’t hit theaters for several months. Excitement for Shawn Levy’s Deadpool & Wolverine is growing after the second trailer dropped, revealing plot details and Easter eggs, including a subtle reference to Rob Liefeld.

Rob Liefeld adds to the excitement surrounding Deadpool & Wolverine by commenting on X in response to insider MyTimeToShineHello’s remarks about the post-credit scene. The insider describes the scene as “mind-blowing” and expresses disbelief that it was kept secret, a sentiment Liefeld agrees with.

Hype for Deadpool & Wolverine

Liefeld isn’t directly part of the Deadpool & Wolverine production team, but he did get the opportunity to visit the set last summer before the SAG-AFTRA strike (reported by The Hollywood Reporter). While he didn’t reveal much about his visit, he still expressed excitement for the film.

“I saw some crazy shit, and none of that has made its way out,” Liefeld told THR earlier this year. “I was really excited by what I was seeing. Fans want Deadpool 3 to represent a turning point for Marvel. I’m really hoping that this takes Marvel to new heights and puts them in a new direction. I’m as excited as everybody else.”

Cast Expected to Appear
Despite being the third installment in the Deadpool series, Deadpool & Wolverine marks its debut within the MCU, following the previous two films released by 20th Century Fox. Director Levy emphasizes that it’s not a direct sequel.

Ryan Reynolds returns as the witty Deadpool with Hugh Jackman reprising his role as Wolverine for the first time since Logan. The movie also includes appearances by Jennifer Garner, Morena Baccarin, Brianna Hildebrand, and Karan Soni. Levy has hinted at celebrity cameos, with Taylor Swift, Halle Berry, and Taron Egerton among those expected to make appearances.
