Singer Mariah Carey is releasing a Memoir very soon, and her former boyfriend Eminem (real name Marshall Mathers) is reportedly “stressed” about the book sharing intimate details, that he doesn’t want the world to know.
Five-time Grammy-award winner Mariah Carey, 50, recently revealed what to expect from her forthcoming memoir. Reports state the book is expected to be released under TV executive Andy Cohen. Mariah Carey wrote:
“IT TOOK ME A LIFETIME TO HAVE THE COURAGE AND THE CLARITY TO WRITE MY MEMOIR. I WANT TO TELL THE STORY OF THE MOMENTS – THE UPS AND DOWNS, THE TRIUMPHS AND TRAUMAS, THE DEBACLES AND THE DREAMS, THAT CONTRIBUTED TO THE PERSON I AM TODAY.”
Although Eminem claims the pair reportedly dated for six months in 2001, Mariah Carey denied being involved with the rapper on a personal relationship level. Mariah Carey says the alleged couple only met a handful of times, and it was professional.
Over the years, the pair has been very vocal about their disdain for each other, publicly dissing each other via lyrics in their music. In 2002 Eminem mentioned the singer in a song twice on his third album. He rapped on “Superman,”
“What you trying be? My new wife? / What, you Mariah? Fly through twice”
On “When The Music Stops” he suggested that he would,
“beg Mariah to take [him] back”
