Eminem has hinted that he could be involved with the 2024 NFL Draft after Big Sean announced that he will be performing at the event.
This year, the NFL Draft is taking place in the rappers’ hometown of Detroit from April 25 to 27, with Sean confirmed to perform before the first round next Thursday.
Following the announcement, the NFL began teasing an appearance from Em by posting a picture of him and Roger Goodell together, with Slim Shady wearing a Detroit Lions hoodie.
The picture led fans to believe that he will be making an appearance during the draft, whether that be performing with previous collaborator Sean or announcing one of the Lions’ draft picks.

A noted Lions fan, Eminem caused quite a stir earlier this year as his team made an unexpected run deep into the NFL playoffs.
During the NFC Conference Game against the San Francisco 49ers, the self-proclaimed Rap God got into it with with the home fans at Levis Stadium.
A video captured by 49ers fans at the game saw Eminem sticking up his middle fingers at the rival supporters and jibing with sections of the home crowd.
Unfortunately for Em, his antics were unable to have a positive impact on his beloved Lions, who blew a 17-point lead — and the chance to play in the franchise’s first-ever Super Bowl — in a 34-31 loss.
He also joked about releasing a diss track aimed at Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson after it looked like he might leave the team before ultimately deciding to stay.
“Guess I should stop recording this diss track..!! Lol!!” Em wrote on X. “@ Ben Johnson Thank you for staying!!! We can’t break this team up ESPECIALLY since I’M on it!!! Coach Campbell we love you bro!!!”
He added: “Let’s run it back next year!!…I’m READY!!!! I promise you I WILL get us to the super bowl!!!”
Eminem also jokingly said he would suit up for the team during the playoffs: “Yo, Dan! I’m reporting! I’m gonna report, third quarter. I’m reporting, offensive line. Eligible receiver. I’ll be the quarterback. The entire line, offensive line […] and I will throw it to myself, and I will score a touchdown. In the third quarter.”
He continued: “Just give me a uniform. Or, at least, just, like, a helmet. I already have a helmet. It’s not the one for football. It’s just a helmet.”
