Ja Rule and 50 Cent have spent decades sniping at each other, but Ja has now suggested the pair’s current relationship might not be what people expect.
Earlier this week, the Murder Inc. rapper sat down with The Shade Room for a new interview, during which he was asked about his relationship with the G-Unit mogul.
“If 50 Cent was to walk in here right now, what do you think would happen?” he asked the interviewer in a teaser clip posted to the outlet’s Instagram on Friday (April 14).
“Well, nothing, obviously,” she replied.
“Exactly!” he shouted in response. “That’s what the [censored audio] I’m saying. We don’t have an issue. We don’t have a problem.”
The interviewer then brought up the previously suggested Verzuz between the pair and how Fif shut the idea down because he didn’t want to help make Ja Rule relevant again.
“Like, c’mon dog. I’m very relevant out here,” Ja responded. “I don’t have nothing to prove to anybody. I just, you know, I just want people to understand my side. My side of it is, I really don’t give a [censored audio].”

Ja Rule’s revelation might be a surprise to some given that both he and 50 Cent have engaged in a lot of beef with each other over the years.
Speaking of 50 Cent and beef, his friend and fellow G-Unit member Tony Yayo recently shared that the collective’s “realest” beef was with Fat Joe and his Terror Squad collective.
G-Unit and Terror Squad’s feud erupted in the mid-2000s after Fat Joe collaborated with Ja Rule. But on Monday (April 10), Terror Squad member Pistol Pete took to Instagram to show love to Yayo, sharing a video of them both on the block in New York City.
In the clip, Yayo spoke on G-Unit’s past beef with Terror Squad while the rest of the crew wore hats sporting the name of his former rival group.
“Yo, the realest beef was with Terror Squad,” Tony Yayo said. “He was a real n-gga, I gotta give it up. The realest beef was with Fat Joe and them. We outside.”
Pistol Pete responded: “Tony Yayo, we fuck with you, though. We out here in the trenches, n-gga. We out here, fuck all that. We out here together, n-gga, a bunch of real n-ggas.”
