Vultures 1 creator Kanye West has publically endorsed the Republican party nominee, former President Donald Trump, although the business previously criticised West for his anti-semitic rant in late 2022.
On February 12th, Ye spoke to paparazzi at an airport about his getting cancelled, nearly going broke and the upcoming US Presidential elections, which will take place at the end of 2024.
When asked if he was supporting Trump, West swifty responded, “Yeah, of course, it’s Trump all day. What you talking ’bout? You know what it is.” In late 2022, Kanye and his alt-right political commentator friend Nick Fuentes had dinner with the former president at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.
Taking to Twitter/X after the meeting, West wrote, “I think the thing that Trump was most perturbed about [was] me asking him to be my vice president. I think that was, like, lower on the list of things that caught him off guard. It was the fact that I walked in with intelligence.”
Kanye West recalled how Trump was “really impressed” with Nick Fuentes, who questioned the mogul about why he didn’t free those who stormed the Capitol Building on January 6th.
Detailing how the meeting took a weird turn, West wrote, “When Trump started basically screaming at me at the table telling me I was gonna lose. I mean, has that ever worked for anyone in history? I’m like, ‘Woah woah, hold on, hold on, Trump. You’re talking to Ye.’”
He continued, “But then he goes on to say that, ‘Kim is a bitch, you can tell her I said that, and I was thinking like, ‘That’s the mother of my children.’ Since we and all the Christians in America that love Trump know that Trump is a conservative, we’re gonna demand that you hold all policies directly to the Bible.”
Kanye West was planning on running for office this year but failed to assemble and fund a campaign that would see him get a chance to enter the White House and take on the role of US President. You can hear the Chicago lyricist speaking below.
