Kanye West responds to Shaquille O’Neal’s Instagram swipe

Controversial rapper and producer Kanye West has recently responded to NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal following a social media swipe the basketball player took at West concerning his ejection from the Super Bowl.

Following the match between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs, O’Neal commented on one of West’s posts, writing, “Who cares. Stop bitchin’ and snitchin’. I kno u saw me at the Super Bowl. I was waiting for u to say something smart. Man up. Nobody wanna see u cryin’. Man up lil boy.”

The Vultures 1 creator did not take this lying down and, in response to Shaquille, responded, “OH AND TO SHAQ I GREW UP LOOKING UP TO YOU I WOULD LOVE TO HANG WITH YOU AND JAMIE SOMETIME. JAIMIE SALTER IS LIKE A FATHER FIGURE TO ME.” Salter was the LA Laker’s former business partner.

During the Super Bowl, in a Verizon commercial, Beyoncé unveiled that she was preparing to release a new country project and dropped two singles ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ and ’16 Carriages.’

However, West insisted that Beyoncé only released her singles to stop his Vultures 1 song ‘Carnival’ from topping the Billboard Hot 100. Following the single’s release, Taylor Swift encouraged fans to stream Bey’s track.

In response to Swift, West wrote a scathing tweet, posting, “WHEN I SAID THAT I’M THE NEW JESUS BITCH I WASN’T EVEN THINKING ABOUT TAYLOR SWIFT. THAT WAS A WHOLE LINE BEFORE BUT I APPRECIATE THE FREE PROMO.”

He then addressed his turbulent relationship with the singer, commenting, “REMEMBER I WAS ON TAYLOR’S SIDE WHEN SCOOTER BOUGHT HER MASTERS BEHIND HER BACK. SHE AND BEYONCÉ ARE BIG INSPIRATIONS TO ALL MUSICIANS WE ALWAYS SAY HOW BOTH SELL OUT TOURS AND MOVIES.”

However, Kanye did appear to take issue with her fans, concluding, “TO ALL TAYLOR SWIFT FANS I AM NOT YOUR ENEMY UUUM IM NOT YOUR FRIEND EITHER THOUGH LOL.”
