Richie Sambora recently made a guest appearance on the ‘Shred With Shifty’ podcast and gave Jon Bon Jovi the green light for a potential Bon Jovi reunion. When asked about the current status of their reunion plans and any progress, he responded:
“We’re in discussions about it. Yes, Jon Bon Jovi and I have been talking about it. There’s a significant demand for it, especially outside of the USA. We were also a massive band internationally, beyond our home country, which is something we’re proud of.”

Earlier in the year, Richie shared his thoughts on the reunion with People, stating:
“I’m aiming for the end of March or the beginning of April for the release of my solo music. We are actively discussing the Bon Jovi reunion as well. Personally, I feel a deep sense of responsibility to our fans around the world.”
During the summer, the guitarist appeared on the ‘Nights With Alice Cooper’ radio show, expressing his readiness to reunite with his former bandmate. Richie enthusiastically conveyed:
“No one has asked me yet, but if they did, I could jump into it tomorrow.”
While there haven’t been any new solo releases from Richie Sambora as of now, he shared with Shifty that he can no longer commit to extended periods on the road as they did in the past. He elaborated:
“Touring extensively, like when we played in Mumbai and traveled to various places for 16 to 18 months – you know how it was. We covered a lot of ground, met so many people who became friends. Maintaining those connections is important. But it’s a lot for me now. We’re exploring various options, and it all comes down to how it feels, you know?”
