While Kanye West is surrounded by many controversies, ScHoolboy Q stands by the legendary rapper/producer. The Germany-born rapper was among the performers at TDE’s annual Christmas toy drive at Nickerson Gardens in Watts, California on Tuesday, December 19th.
During his performance, ScHoolboy also performed his Kanye West collab “THat Part”, and rapped Ye’s part as well. Following his performance, the rapper showed support for Kanye West. “I don’t know about y’all but I ain’t canceled Kanye,” he said. “That’s the homie. I don’t give a f–k. I’m f–king with Ye.”
The song was released in 2016 as part of Schoolboy Q’s fourth studio album Blank Face LP as the lead single. It was also nominated for Best Rap Performance at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards.
ScHoolboy Q hasn’t released an album in over 4 years, and he recently teased his return for 2024. He revealed that he’s got “something special [for 2024]. I’ma be back. I will be back,” to TMZ.
