One of them is about mega pop star Taylor Swift’s rumored appearance in the Ryan Renolds starrer movie. For a long time now, Swift has been rumored to make her MCU debut with the most anticipated Marvel release, Deadpool & Wolverine. The singing sensation was rumored after she was seen with Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, and the director of the movie, Shawn Levy. Now, with her recent album, the rumor resurfaced.
Taylor Swift’s rumor to play Dazzler— a mutant in Marvel Comics who can sing— has resurfaced following her most recent studio album, The Tortured Poets Department. Swift ended her album with the word, “Dazzling” making the Deadpool 3 and Swift drama more intense than her previous appearance with the Deadpool 3 cast and the director (via ScreenRant).
Previously, the director of the movie, Shawn Levy responded to the highly intense rumors among fans that propelled the reporters to ask him questions about Swift’s potential role in the movie. In a short chat with Entertainment Tonight, the director declined to comment on it.
“I can’t even believe that you would dare ask me a question that you know I can’t answer. All of America knows I can’t answer that. But I will say, as I said earlier here at CinemaCon, the proliferation of rumors about who is and isn’t in this movie, it’s fabulous, because no one will ever know the truth until July 26.”

Of course, Marvel Studios has been good at keeping their secret until the release of their movies. Despite heavy rumors, the superhero brand had kept it quiet about Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man return in Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: No Way Home. So, as the director said, July 26, the release date for the movie, would be the mystery buster.
