A little over a year ago, word began to spread that Curtis 50 Cent Jackson was playing with the idea of planting roots in Shreveport. Shreveport City Council went through an extensive legislative process to bring the idea of making Shreveport home to the entertainment mogul’s production company, G-Unit Film and TV.

Shreveport City Council proposed an ordinance outlining the lease terms for Millennium Studios. The initial lease proposed a term of 30 years with an option to renew for one additional 15-year term with rent to be set at $2,400 a year during the contract’s initial term and renewal term.
