The ionic rapper has released a string of albums over the past decade, though many believe Slim Shady is actually a cyborg created by the music industry.
In one of countless videos doing the rounds online, a convinced fan says: “Guys, Eminem is dead and he is a clone.”
Citing a string of unverified blogs, the video goes on to claim the star died in a fatal car crash in June 2007.
Trying to justify the bizarre theory, the clip states how the rapper’s appearance has changed in recent years.
In fact they even allege his ear bone struture has altered.
“I noticed that too about old Slim Shady,” one fan wrote on a chat forum.
“He has most definitely been replaced.”
Another added: “The replacement looks younger.”
Other’s have turned to the star’s music to prove he is no longer with us.
“This replacement is blatantly telling you he is not the real Eminem,” the video’s commentary continues.
“Let’s go ahead and listen.”
Cinderella Man, his 2014 track, can then be heard with the lyrics: “That boy’s hot enough to melt hell, burn Satan too/ Fry his ass and put his ashes back together with glue.
“This game couldn’t afford to lose him/ how about you?”
The unknown YouTuber adds: “This how I came to my my conclusion. He is an android.
“This is what he is saying guys.”
Meanwhile, non-mainstream rapper Canibus has also referenced the superstar’s death in his track Dead by Design.
He raps: “You scream for hardcore, I felt it.
“But what you gon’ do when they kill me on some Eminem?”
